Hey there! I’m Swapnil Nair, and I’m currently studying Computer Science at PES University, Bangalore.
What I do.
I am currently a student and open to work. I love working with data - deep diving into it in the hopes of unearthing little pearls of insight from within. Data Engineering and Cloud Computing are what I like, along with API Development and Big Data Analytics. Building end-to-end pipelines on distributed systems is what I consider enjoyable.
What I also do.
Apart from core tech, I’m also adept at Business Analytics and Problem Solving in general. Excel, Slide Decks and pitching are second nature thanks to my interests in Finance, Business and Debating. I like to call myself a generalist who would like to become a generalised specialist in the coming years.
A huge part of that claim comes from my journey as an active quizzer. The diversity of the questions and the quizzing fraternity alike have imbibed a lateral thinking ability that helps drill down to the root cause of problems and think of novel ways to solve them.
The Fun stuff.
You will find me fixing servers at the Cloud Computing centre, organizing Hackathons,reading,debating, bombarding people with trivia, or narrating comically absurd tales.
